This week we have been celebrating the 90th birthday of Usworth Colliery Primary School building. All of the children have been learning about things that have happened in the school in the past and what it looked like. They have found out things about what it was like to be a pupil at the school in years gone by (which was very different). It culminated today in some traditional games on the field and a mini-picnic. Thank you to all the parents and family members who came along and I hope that you have time to look at all the photographs and pictures on the windows at the front of school. They will stay up for the next few weeks. Thank you to Mrs Justice for organising the whole week, including the event today.
