Community Events
Where possible, we try to support the work of the local community. We usually advertise events via twitter or our weekly newsletter. If you would like us to advertise local events then contact the School Office via email and we will do our best.
Volunteers
We hope that any Parent/Carer with free time will come into school to help, both inside and outside the classroom. If you are interested in helping, please talk to Mr. Wright or any of the Office Staff.
All voluntary support workers must be DSB cleared (police checked) for the safety of your children. This includes those who offer to go on trips. Again the Office Staff will advise you about this procedure. We are very grateful for the help Parents give us in school.
Shop & Earn Money For the School
Whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising a free donation for the school.
There are nearly 3,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, The Trainline and Sainsbury’s – it doesn’t cost you a penny extra!
It’s really simple, all you have to do is:
1. Join.
Head to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/usworthcollieryps/ and sign up for free.
2. Shop
Every time you shop online, go to easy fundraising first, pick the retailer you want and start shopping. Or set up the donation reminder on registration and all you need to do is click yes on your tool bar when it comes up!
3. Raise
After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!
There are no catches or hidden charges and school will be really grateful for your donations.
